10月11日晚11时，第十五届波兰肖邦国际钢琴比赛组委会公布了进入复赛的32位选手名单，中国大陆3位选手无一入围，代表德国的沈文裕和代表美国的孙镁庭也在此名单之外。
此次，唯一的中国评委周广仁教授不知何因辞了职[还有另一位评委也辞了职]。
此次复赛入围选手，日本最多，有9人；波兰7人；南韩4人；美国3人；俄罗斯2人；台湾、香港、法国、芬兰、加拿大、乌克兰、澳大利亚各1人。
